Terms of Use

Booking Confirmation
Once you place your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Universal Catering. This email confirms your order, unless it’s stated as a quote. If you don’t receive a confirmation, your order has not been accepted. Please review your order details carefully and notify us of any corrections. Your order will be delivered within the requested delivery window, and an invoice will be sent via email.

Order Changes
You can make changes to your order, but changes made within 48 hours of delivery may incur additional charges or may not be possible.

Order Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event. Changes or cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at full price.

Standing Order Changes or Cancellations
Changes or cancellations for standing orders must be made before 12pm the day before delivery. For orders over $1000, more notice may be required. Please email us for cancellations.

Dietary Requirements and Food Allergies
We can accommodate various dietary needs. While we take steps to avoid allergens, we cannot guarantee that traces of certain allergens won’t be present. We recommend that severely allergic guests bring their own food. Universal Catering is not responsible for any illness caused by allergen traces.

Delivery
We offer free delivery to UTS City campuses for orders over $150. For off-site catering, delivery fees will apply. Delivery times may vary depending on location.

Pricing
All menu prices are excluding GST and may change without notice. We guarantee the pricing for accepted orders for 4 weeks.

Invoicing
An invoice will be sent via email based on the order details, reflecting the items and prices in the confirmation email.

Missing Items
If an item is missing or incorrect, let us know within 24 hours of delivery for an invoice adjustment. We cannot guarantee adjustments if reported after 72 hours.

Payment Options
Payments can be made online via credit card, in person with EFTPOS, or via invoice for UTS clients. We also accept American Express.

Payment Terms
For account customers, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice or before the event, whichever comes first. 

Surcharges
There’s a 30% surcharge for weekend orders and a 50% surcharge for public holidays.

Delivery Locations
We offer reliable delivery services across the Sydney metropolitan area, with complimentary delivery to UTS campuses for orders over $150. Delivery fees are applicable for locations outside of UTS campuses. 

Order Cut-Off Times
Orders should be placed by 2pm for next-day delivery. Larger events require advance notice.

Minimum Order Requirements
Depending on your location and catering needs, minimum order requirements apply to ensure quality and efficiency in service. Orders requiring weekend delivery have a minimum total order amount of $2000.
